  • chicken pieces
  • 1-2 tbsp curry powder
  • turmeric
  • salt
  • a little chili
  • lemon juice
  • onions
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • bay leaves
  • Remove the skin from the chicken pieces and place them in a bowl
  • Add curry powder, turmeric, salt, a little chilli, and lemon juice or vinegar
  • Leave for half an hour
  • Sauté onions, garlic, ginger, and bay leaves until they turn brown, then remove them
  • Add the chicken to the pan and brown it on all sides
  • Return the onions, garlic, ginger, and bay leaves to the pan, and add liquid as necessary
  • Reduce the heat and simmer until the chicken is cooked
  • Add a little coconut milk to the sauce
